Aramark Recognized for Commitment to Healthy Lifestyles
New Business Roundtable Report Underscores How Company is Leading by Example
PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 19, 2016) – Aramark (NYSE: ARMK), a global leader in food, facilities management and uniforms, is featured in a new Business Roundtable report highlighting the commitment of America’s CEOs to incorporate sustainability into their business practices—all in an effort to lead the way toward a more sustainable future.
“Create, Grow, Sustain: Leading by Example,” details the sustainability efforts of companies through a series of testimonials from top CEOs, and provides insight into how companies like Aramark are leading the way on effective environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices.
The report highlights Aramark’s commitment to improve the health of all Americans 20 percent by 2020 alongside the American Heart Association, the nation’s largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease. The initiative, Healthy for Life® 20 By 20, aims to help people develop and sustain healthy lifestyles through improved diet and nutrition.
