Philadelphia, PA (April 18, 2017) -- A newly released Business Roundtable report highlights Aramark’s achievements in creating a more sustainable world and a better quality of life for all Americans. “Create, Grow, Sustain: Delivering Shared Success,” now in its 10th year, details the sustainability efforts of more than 150 companies through a series of testimonials from top CEOs.
The 2017 report highlights Aramark’s progress on its commitment to improve the health of all Americans 20 percent by 2020 alongside the American Heart Association, the nation’s largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease.
“Two years ago, we took a bold step forward with the American Heart Association to address health and wellness challenges,” said Eric J. Foss, Aramark Chairman, President and CEO. “We are proud of the progress we have made with our menus, as well as our employee, consumer and community awareness and engagement programs that are working holistically to change consumer behaviors around food and nutrition.”
Earlier this month, Aramark launched Feed Your Potential 365, a public health and well-being campaign, to promote healthy lifestyles among all consumers, as well as families in underserved communities and Aramark’s customers, clients and employees. As part of the campaign, the company is establishing Feed Your Potential 365 Clubs around the country and expects to reach an additional 500+ non-profit organizations through a proven online health and wellness curriculum created with the American Heart Association.
All consumers are invited to join the campaign via the FYP365 digital community and Instagram @Aramark, where they can access and receive information, ideas, tips and recipes from the company’s chefs and dietitians, as well as experts from the American Heart Association.
